It’s time to reveal the results of last week’s poll to find out your favourite overall series of the Doctor Who revival. Let the countdown begin once more…

6. Series 1

Christopher Eccleston’s first and only series received little love with just 4.4% of the vote.

5. Series 2

David Tennant’s debut series only fared slightly better taking 5th place with 6.74% of the vote.

4. Series 3

The third series was just ahead of the second to claim 4th place with 7.48% of the vote.

3. Series 4

The fourth series came third with 26.24% of the vote.

2. Series 5

It was incredibly close, but the fifth just edged ahead to claim second with 26.63% of the vote.

1. Series 6

Yes, the results went in reverse order, but this was really a three way race until the end. Voters were torn between the 4th, 5th and 6th series. Ultimately, Series 6 wins the poll with a 28.5% majority.
