As reported earlier in the month, Doctor Who will feature at this year’s Comic Relief telethon.

Matt Smith has been confirmed to briefly make an appearance as the Doctor for the charity fundraiser tonight.

There has been no further details on the exact time or whether be any other Doctor Who treats at the event as with previous years. We’ll just have to tune in from 7pm and find out…

Earlier today Matt Smith kissed Dawn French to raise money for the event.

Red Nose Day begins Friday 15th March at 7pm BBC1.
