The Rebel Flesh: Casting & Rumours

Marshall Lancaster is to guest star in Series 6 of Doctor Who according to his online CV at Spotlight.

Fans of Life on Mars and Ashes to Ashes will recognise Lancaster from his role as Chris, who worked alongside Sam Tyler (John Simm).

Lancaster will play a character called Buzzer in Matthew Graham’s two-parter, which makes up episodes five and six. The episodes are currently thought to be entitled The Rebel Flesh and Gangers.

Recent rumours suggest that the story will focus on an office block staffed by clones with the Doctor arriving on the scene just as they go wrong. Could this be the “workforce that will haunt your dreams” mentioned by Moffat in one of his teasers?

Also appearing in this story is Sarah Smart (At Home with the Braithwaites, Casualty 1909) whose character is called Jennifer Lucas.
