You Voted Strongly Against the Davros Change

Last week, the 2023 Children in Need special aired and surprised fans by featuring an able-bodied Davros.

Though some had assumed this was just a one-off, it was stated by Russell T Davies on Doctor Who Unleashed that this is actually Davros’ look going forward.

Davies reasoned that he believes Davros, in his classic form, ‘associated disability with evil.’

As with any big changes to the show over the years, DWTV wanted to know your opinion on the matter, and we can now reveal the results…

Almost 6,000 of you voted and as we can see from the graph, almost 80% were against the change.

Right now, RTD seems resolute in this decision, but there’s always hope for fans who are against it. Even if RTD sticks to his plan in spite of any backlash, a future showrunner can always restore his iconic design.
