YOUR Verdict on “Survivors of the Flux” – And Down It Goes
It’s time to reveal DWTV’s poll results for the fifth episode of Series 13, “Survivors of the Flux”, as voted for by you over the last week or so.
“Survivors of the Flux”: Score Breakdown
As always, we asked you to rate the episode on a scale from 1 to 10. We then took an average.
- A few thousand of you voted, and the average score was 5.92. According to the Doctor Who TV score guide, this indicates the episode was generally considered to be in the “average” to “above average” range.
- Unfortunately, a score this low means “Survivors of the Flux” is now the 18th lowest rated episode of the whole revival (according to the DWTV ranking polls taken in 2018).
- More specifically, it is situated between two other Chibnall era episodes, “Arachnids in the UK” (5.91) and “The Battle of Ranskoor Av Kolos” (5.93).
- This is the 9th episode of the Chibnall era to enter the bottom 20.
- The standard deviation – which is our measure of how divisive an episode is – was 2.86. This episode has quickly overtaken “Once Upon Time” to become the 4th most divisive of the entire revival.
- Overall, following last week’s Series 13 high, this is yet another disappointing drop back into mediocrity.
